Forgotten Personal Learning Plan User Names or Passwords?
If you have a student or client who has created a Personal Learning Plan but has forgotten their user name or password you can get this information by going to the Internet CIS Administration web site: http://necis.intocareers.org/administration .
Once you are logged onto the administration site:
1) Click on “Manage Portfolios” on the left hand menu
2) Click on “Create and Edit Portfolios”
3) This will bring up a list of the Personal Learning Plans (Portfolios) created on your site. The list will include the users Last Name, First Name, their User Name and Password. If there are several portfolios created on your site, you can search for a specific one by the individual's name.
If you were unable to attend training this past fall, you can find more information about the Administration site on our department web site, http://www.ncis.unl.edu . From the top menu, click on “Training” and then “Experienced 2005 User Training”, from the menu on the left hand-side. The last document listed is Site Administration Tools for Internet CIS . This document, as well as many of the other documents that were handed out at training, can be downloaded in a Word or PDF format.
